Capital FC had their annual CFC Soccer Ball Auction and Benefit on November 19, which helped raise money to support scholarships for their youth-based programs. 

“We raised more than ever, and this will allow us to continue to provide quality programming and scholarships to the nearly 40% of our kids that receive financial assistance to participate,” CFC Executive Director Collin Box said. 

Over the holidays, Capital FC will be offering two tournaments that serve as fundraisers for the club. 

The Christmas Tournament will be hosted by Salem Indoor and be played from December 19-23. The cost to play in the tournament is $450 per team and teams that pay in full by December 12 save $50. There is a three-game guarantee with eight teams max in the following divisions: Men’s D1, Men’s D2, Men’s D3, Men’s over 30, Coed Open, Boys High School, Girls High School, U-14 Boys, and U-14 Girls. SALEM FREE CLINIC

Salem Free Clinics will continue providing free Medical, Dental, and Mental Health appointments for the uninsured and those without access to care during the holiday season. The clinic offers free flu shots and is accepting $10-25 gift cards to Walmart to help patients pay for medications.
