Salem Keizer Scavenger Hunt

Salem/Keizer – Salem Keizer Scavenger Hunt to feature local businesses in Salem/Keizer with a Scavenger Hunt on July 9, 2022. The event is designed to help Salem/Keizer residents have a great time, enter to win cash and prizes, build community, and support local businesses by connecting people with local places. 

The event is being co-organized by Farmers Insurance – Mathew Poteet and WhirLocal, both of the Salem/Keizer area.

“We’re really excited to organize this event for the Salem/Keizer area. As we all know, many small businesses have been hit hard over the past 2 years. They really are the lifeblood of our community, and we love to celebrate and support our local businesses”, stated Mathew Poteet, co-organizer of the event. “In addition, this free event will help our neighbors and local families have a great time without eating into the household budget.”

This year there will be four adventures to choose from; Keizer, Downtown Salem, West Salem, and North Salem/Lancaster, with the plan to have 10 local places per adventure, plus a mix of fun activities and trivia along the way. It’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and have fun while also connecting with local businesses. Everyone is ready to play!

Anybody who registers by July 1st, 2022 will be entered to win a $500 prize, sponsored by Willamette Valley Bank. All Salem Keizer Scavenger Hunt participants who complete at least one adventure will be entered to win a $1000 cash prize, and there will be lots of other door prizes as well.
