Salem stands proud of its entrepreneurs who not only push the bounds of their industries but also forge deep connections within their community. One such trailblazer is Mayra Rocha, Principal Broker and Owner of Rocha Realty LLC, and Rocha Contracting and Reforestation LLC. With a deep-rooted commitment to fostering community growth and inclusion, Rocha has become a cornerstone of the local business landscape.

“My professional journey began in Salem, where I was raised, fostering a deep connection to the community for over 25 years,” Rocha says, outlining her path from McKay High School graduate to esteemed business leader and community advocate.

Beyond her businesses, Rocha serves diligently as a board member at St. Vincent De Paul Dual Language Immersion Catholic School and the Salem Keizer Coalition for Equality, roles that amplify her commitment to education and equity.

Rocha entered the real estate industry five years ago, building a robust career that has seen her facilitating homeownership for numerous families and spearheading significant projects in wildland firefighting with Rocha Contracting and Reforestation. “Each transaction represents more than just a sale; it’s a gateway to a new chapter in my clients’ lives,” Rocha reflects on her accomplishments in real estate.

The journey has not been without challenges. Rocha candidly shares the trials of balancing motherhood with her professional ambitions, a dynamic she manages with a well-defined schedule and the support of her family. “Finding the equilibrium between family time and professional pursuits can be daunting,” she admits, “but with a structured schedule and strong support, I manage to ensure both my daughters are well cared for while attending to my professional duties.”

Rocha’s mentorship through figures like Principal brokers Jose Gonzalez and Baltazar Molina, and Lucy Escobar, has been pivotal. “Their guidance has been transformative, propelling me forward in my professional journey and empowering me to make meaningful contributions,” Rocha acknowledges the impact of these mentors on her career.

For Rocha, success is intertwined with her abilities to connect with others, her determination, and her passion for real estate. These traits have not only fostered her professional growth but also enabled her to make lasting impacts on her clients’ lives.

Looking to the future, Rocha is committed to deepening her industry knowledge and expanding her business, with a particular focus on empowering women in real estate. “My vision is to foster greater diversity and representation within the real estate industry, particularly by empowering more women to establish their own brokerages,” she asserts.
